A Special Day of Adventure
Last Saturday, the ZMG Group shared an early celebration of the holidays with the kids from ChildHope Philippines by accompanying them on a memorable experience around The Mind Museum in Taguig. With the Group’s dedication to supporting various initiatives that uplift the community. Many employees volunteered to spend time with the children, and generous donations were made to ensure they had a joyful celebration.
The gathering began in the morning with a warm prayer. Each volunteer was then assigned a child to guide. Seth Sesalim, HR Generalist of Asia Select, offered helpful reminders to ensure a smooth experience and to avoid any potential issues at the venue.
Exploring the Mind Museum
Upon entering the museum, it was easy to tell that the children were eager to learn from what they saw. Every corner of the museum offered insights related to science. The kids excitedly read the information displayed, interactively played with the exhibit and gaining an understanding of its significance.
Additionally, each volunteer guided the children and explained the exhibits. It was clear that the children were genuinely interested, and the volunteers felt the joy radiating from them.
Lunch and Noche Buena Distribution
After exploring, everyone headed to a function room where lunch was served. Everyone began with a prayer, expressing gratitude for the food. Although the children were tired, their eyes sparkled with joy and newfound knowledge from the museum.
Furthermore, after lunch, a mini program was held, during which a group of children prepared a dance performance for everyone’s entertainment. The volunteers were delighted by their talent; the ChildHope kids truly showcased their abilities.
Finally, the ZMG Group and the Work n’ Save team members presented the Noche Buena packages to the children, who expressed heartfelt thanks. This event marked the conclusion of the ZMG Group’s holiday celebration with the ChildHope Philippines, bringing joy and togetherness.
