Jesus “Gigi” M. Zulueta, Jr. was a visionary leader and entrepreneur who left an indelible mark on the business landscape of the Philippines. As the founder and CEO of the ZMG Ward Howell Group, Gigi was instrumental in transforming the executive search and recruitment industry in the country. He was known for his vision, unwavering commitment to excellence, and passion for building long-lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.

Under Gigi’s leadership, ZMG Ward Howell became one of the most respected and successful firms in the Philippines. Gigi’s reputation as a trusted advisor and mentor was legendary, and he was beloved by his employees, clients, and peers.
Mr. Zulueta’s professional role at ZMG Ward Howell was multifaceted, and he wore many hats over the years. As CEO, he was responsible for setting the company’s strategic direction, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring that ZMG Ward Howell remained at the forefront of its industry. He was also deeply involved in client relations, forging strong partnerships with some of the most influential organizations in the Philippines. He was also active in a number of private corporations, organizations, and government institutions.
He was a senior partner of Argosy, a private equity advisory firm working with major international investors. He was the Co-founder and Director of the Institute of Corporate Directors and a fellow of the Australia Institute of Corporate Directors. He was formerly a Chairman of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and Governor of the Management Association of the Philippines. He is a past Trustee of the Helen Keller Foundation, New York (the oldest foundation in America) and a former Governor of The British School Manila. He served as President of the Rotary Club of Makati and was awarded the Most Outstanding Club President-Overall during his term. He also capably served as Honorary Consul General for the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal for more than 18 years. In addition, he was a former Dean of the Consular Corps of the Philippines.
Gigi’s professional achievements were numerous and impressive. He was widely recognized as a thought leader in the executive search and recruitment field, and his expertise was sought after by industry associations and business leaders alike. Gigi was also a tireless advocate for corporate social responsibility, and under his leadership, ZMG Ward Howell became a model for ethical business practices in the Philippines.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Gigi was deeply passionate about family, faith, and community. He was a devoted husband and father, and his love for his family was evident in everything he did. Gigi was also deeply committed to his Catholic faith and was involved in numerous charitable and civic organizations throughout his life. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family and friends.
