Maria Victoria “Marivic” Aro is Director and Practice Head for the Insurance Sector and other industries and clients in the ecosystem. She also handles conglomerates with businesses in Property Development, Retail, Hospitality, Logistics and Food industries.

She has over 25 years of professional experience in Consumer Banking, Insurance, and Information Technology, with focus on Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Project Management. Before joining the firm, she worked for Citibank NA and IBM Philippines. In Citibank, she was Vice President and Head of Business Development and Co-Brand Products for Cards Business, and was Vice President and Head of Credit and Non-Credit Insurance for CitiCorp Financial Services and Brokerage, Inc. (CFSI). In IBM, she was Head of the Systems Engineering Unit, Senior Project Manager and Engagement Manager for major accounts in government and finance industries, and Industry Specialist for the banking sector.

Throughout her career, Marivic successfully launched new products in the market, established partnerships and alliances with industry leaders, and led marketing campaigns and business development initiatives, including strategies and programs aimed at retaining and expanding client portfolios. A recipient of both local and global awards and citations, she has been recognized for championing and executing business transformation projects, and for accomplishing various critical project milestones.

Graduating at the top of her class, Marivic holds a Bachelor of Arts and Commerce degree in Business Economics from Assumption College Manila. She attended and participated in various training and executive development programs in the region, as well as in the US, Canada, Middle East, and Europe.
