Michael Anthony “Mike” R. Valentin is the Associate Director of the Industrial and Infrastructure Industries (III) Practice at ZMG Ward Howell.

Mike brings over fifteen years of experience in recruitment, with deep subject matter expertise in engineering, infrastructure, and the oil and gas sectors. He began his career with a recruitment agency specializing in deploying highly skilled Filipino engineers and technical professionals for overseas oil, gas, energy, and infrastructure projects, building a strong foundation in technically complex and highly regulated industries.

He joined ZMG Ward Howell in March 2017 as an Associate and quickly distinguished himself through his diligence, consistency, and passion for recruitment. His strong performance led to rapid progression into a Consultant role, followed by promotion to Senior Consultant in 2024. In this capacity, Mike became particularly known for his ability to manage complex engineering searches across multiple industries while delivering consistent results.

Mike pursued Chemical Engineering at the University of the Philippines Los Baños. While family responsibilities required him to enter the workforce early, he later completed a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in just two years while working full time, demonstrating exceptional discipline, resilience, and intellectual rigor.
